The Challenge
Every nonprofit depends on monthly support to keep their programs running. But most Rescue Mission donors default to giving one-time gifts unless they’re invited to make a deeper commitment.
The Solution
To help more donors go deeper, BDI added a monthly giving nudge to one Rescue Mission’s donation page. The prompt appeared at the optimal moment of conversion – just as the donor was completing their gift – offering them an easy, non-disruptive way to begin giving monthly.

The Results
The lightbox prompted a significant increase in monthly donor signups – helping sustain essential services like meals, shelter and recovery programs. Even better, one-time gifts held steady.
